We intentionally hurt ourselves sometimes..

Our first sledding trip! It was so much fun. Spence might have begged to differ, but the rest of us were entralled with happiness in plummetting out of control as we slid on our bums or stomachs down a hill. I actually had to chuckle at myself alittle as I hurt myself or watched my kids become masochists all in the name of exhilaration! What fun we had!
Braden went non-stop up and down that hill!
Spence decided after his 3rd run that it wasn't worth the pain. He instead tried and tried again to inflict pain on others, in the form of snowballs. We couldn't convince him otherwise!
Sydney giggled everytime she saw kids slid down the hill! I think she enjoyed the rides herself, but she was so bundled, all she could move was her mouth and eyes! HaHa! I relieved Crhistmas story alittle :)
This was shot from me standing on the top of the hill and Braden standing at the bottom. What a beautiful tree! I'm such a sucker for pine trees! Gosh, beauty.

Where did all this paper come from?

Syd got her first talking doll for Christmas. Thanks Grandpa! This year for Sydney was more more step to becoming a prissy girl! Congrats Syd, you are moving up in the world (or would that be down?!?!) :)
Braden and Spence both got bikes! WhooHOO! I was very excited! And I think will be even more excited when the sidewalks are no longer ice!

Great Grandma gave Sydney a purse! She is officially a girl. Ok, so there are alot more reasons for her to be 'officially' a girl, but I died with amusement and pride at my princess. She totes around that purse like it holds her life in it!

Bruno is OURS.. finally

So I am guilty of being biased. But this here is the best looking dog. We named him Bruno.
Bruno is a great dane. He's 7wks old.

He is getting used to us. And I'm feeling as though I have an infant in the house again. Except this is a big infant that knaws on everything and chases the boys around nipping at their jeans. haha, its so cute. I've been so preoccupied with potty training. Its ridicuous!!

BYU vs UofU..

So yes! Byu vs UofU and uh.. We went to the Zoo. If you are alittle disappointed to not see pictures of the game, well.. REALLY? Seriously? We're not that kind of people (SportsNuts).. But UofU won (its an unnaturally big deal here).Derrick and Danny joined us for the fun! They were captivated by Sydney and she was wholly entertained! Never has any young child had such wonderful uncles.! And I have to admit I was alittle entertained myself :) ! (although my poor stroller will never be the same again)

And again.. Sydney has a gift I tell ya. Brandon was in love with carrying her around. She would giggle at the animals and touch the glass. I have to say I was a bit in love myself! When he didn't have her he was watching her and waiting to hold her again.

And me, well yes, me. I was on the correct side of the camera. Don't get me wrong, cameras are my friend, but I have to be the operater. You see if you haven't read any other post or seen other pictures of me, let me tell you that I am not photogenic. In fact, I am thinking it is my gift to you, my blog reader, to not post shots of me :). And you're welcome.

Sydney's 1st Haircut

I FINALLY did it! Syd's hair was getting pretty uh BoBo-the-clownish! It was ridiculous. When her little hairs were wet the back outside ones would go down to her shoulders, but the rest were still just short- Here are the little locks that I chopped off..

Awe Cuteness..
If you hadn't noticed, Brandon is in seventh heaven holding the little pup. We get him on Dec. 12 (as the title implies). We met the pups' parents and they are absolutely wonderful dogs. They are taller than Braden and the body of the parents are taller than Sydney. It was great fun. The adult dog actually wacked Syd in the head with its tail, not hard, but just enough that she yelled at it and gave crusties..Girls..Anyway, I'll keep ya posted.

Spencer's DAY.........sNoWWW

We went to bed last night with rain, and woke up to SNOW!! YEAhh. Spence was soo EXCITED! I had to capture the moment!
This is Spencer's 1st taste of snow. He said it tastes like Chicken!! Haa Haa! Just kidding, but that would have been cool. He told me in surprise that it tastes like ICE. WoW, that was shocking :).




He then utterly enjoyed himself throwing snowballs at me! Fun! Enjoy the pictures!
